Concealed Carry License

Whether you are trying to qualify for your Concealed Carry license or renewing an existing Concealed Carry license, we have the class for you.

In these classes, you’ll learn how to handle and store a pistol properly. There will be a thorough discussion on home gun storage, storage when traveling, and public storage options for firearms. You will also learn the safe and proper ways to care for your firearm, how to load and unload, cleaning products, and protocols. The marksmanship portion of the class is where things begin to get hands-on. You’ll be taught how to properly and effectively grip a gun while developing a correct and comfortable stance, trigger control, sight alignment, and sight picture. In-depth instruction on the laws, including rules on interacting with law enforcement officers while carrying or transporting a firearm, areas where firearms may not be carried in public, and the FOID Act. Just as you did with the classroom practice rounds, you’ll perform similar maneuvers, only this time with live ammunition. Once you’ve passed one of these classes, you’ll have all the training required to apply for or renew your Illinois Concealed Carry License.
